okay so I think a few months ago I signed up for a 3-month skillshare free trial (that I used only once I think). and b/c i have the worst fucking memory i forgot to cancel it, and BECAUSE I forgot to cancel it, they just took $100 from me.

I know it’s dumb asking for donations because it WAS a mistake that /I/ made, but I’m still searching for a new job and haven’t had any luck yet, so I NEED that money back.

Me: I’m aware of all of that, but I don’t care. I’m trying to enjoy something I’m passionate about. You are not obligated to enjoy it with me, but you are obligated to respect my boundaries as a human being rather than rudely bursting into my space and putting down the things I love. Just because I don’t spend all of my time hyper-analyzing my favorite TV show doesn’t mean I’m unaware of its flaws. It just means that I enjoy it for what it is, despite those flaws, and that I feel no need to pay lip service to you or anyone else.
